Senior center offering bus trip, SCYP bowling tonight (Friday)

The Wellington Senior Center has arranged a vacation package to South Dakota, and people of all ages are invited.

It's a seven day, six night trip from May 29 to June 4 of this year. It will take patrons to visit Mount Rushmore monument, the town of Deadwood, the Crazy Horse Memorial plus much more.

The cost for the Diamond Tours bus package is $545 per person; hotel accommodations and 10 meals are included. For more information and to make reservations contact Lucille Freeman at 620-326-2815.

The Sumner County Young Professionals are hosting their annual bowling night at Meadow Lanes this evening in Wellington. Anyone between the ages of 21 and 39 who lives or works in Sumner County is invited to come out, learn more about the group, network and of course throw some strikes. It gets underway at 6 p.m.
