8 Wrestlers bring home the hardware...

The Crusader Basketball Program was on the road to Clearwater Friday evening - overall results were good! The Boys "C" Team won their 2nd game in a row, the JV Boys battled hard but were edged out by their Indian counterparts and the Varsity Girls and Boys and JV Girls - all put up "W's" from the trip away. This coming week will be all HOME action for our "5" basketball teams.

School doesn't resume until tomorrow for the students, for the student athletes and their coaches, it's been a busy holiday break which culminated Tuesday evening in Mulvane as the 2017 portion of the WHS Basketball schedule got underway. Going into the break, both the WHS Varsity Boys and Girls were standing at 2-3 on the young season. When the dust settled Tuesday in Wildcat country, after two great games of basketball, one Wellington team would move up a notch, the other, would move one down.
