It was perfect football weather Friday evening down at Sellers Park where the Wellington Crusaders were playing host to the Scott City Beavers. No wind, clear skies and temps by the end of the contest were in the upper 40's / lower 50's. It was jacket weather for sure and there was also a "ROYAL" feeling in the air...
The WHS Track Team was in action on Thursday in Winfield (Southwestern College) at the 4A Regional Track & Field Meet! The Top 4 finishers in each event would qualify for State 4A competition next weekend at Wichita State University.
The weather was wet and dreary but the outcomes just a little brighter for the WHS participants. "7" Crusaders qualified for next weekend's "BIG SHOW" @ WSU in "3" different events.
Earlier this Spring, Wellington High School leadership students put together a School Unity Project - a lip dub video that involved the entire student body and staff lip syncing to various songs through the WHS halls. The unity project's theme was "No One Stands Alone in Our House."
