WELLINGTON, Kan. - During the Feb. 23 Chamber Coffee at Daylight Donuts, a ceremonial check was presented to The Bryce Day Memorial Foundation from the Wellington Charity Fantasy Football League. The league commissioner, Nate Jones of Sumner Communications' SUTV.com along with the league’s year-three champion, Tytus Cornejo of the Cornejo-Day Funeral Home, and handed the $900 check to Treasurer of the BDMF, Betty Zeka.
The Friends for Charity organization recently moved into the building at 109 E. Harvey in downtown Wellington where they craft several items for various charitable causes.

WELLINGTON, Kan. - Eight local personalities and business owners have put their fantasy football skills on the line over the course of the past 14 weeks with the goal of helping the community.
The Wellington Charity Fantasy Football League playoffs begin with week 15 of the NFL football season. Now in it's second year, the league works much like a “celebrity game show” on television. Eight team managers, each representing a local charity have all agreed to donate $100 to the charity of the league champion.
