El Dorado blasts Heat on Saturday, two games rained out

Create: 06/27/2016 - 09:08

The Wellington Heat had two of their last three games post-poned due to rain, but that wasn't the case on Saturday, June 25 at home against the El Dorado Bronocs – a game in which the Heat would come up short in.

The visiting team jumped out to a 3-1 lead after the first and never looked back. It was 10-3 El Do after the fifth and in spite of a 10-hit effort by the home team, Wellington found itself on the wrong end of a 13-3 final score.
