The "HOME" side of the scoreboards in both gyms at WHS Tuesday night were busy! The Mulvane Wildcats were in town and the teams in red got down to business. On the evening there were "5" games, on the evening there were "5" Crusader victories!

In the afternoon openers, it was the "C" Team Boys and JV Girls gettin' things started right for the evening.

"C" TEAM BOYS: Mulvane 39 Wellington 50
The young Crusaders chalked up their 13th win of the season behind the solid play of Jacob Ewing and Brayden Higginbotham.
Jacob Ewing 17, Brayden Higginbotham 10, Joe Ybarra 8, DeAndre Washington 6, Jihad Mutazammil 3, Chance Hamel 2, Arlis Troutman 2, Grey Hatfield 2

"JV" GIRLS: Mulvane 26 Wellington 37
The younger ladies in red lead most of the contest and secured the win late in the game capitalizing on good defense and focused play - great job ladies!!
Chloe Wilson 13, Jacelyn Buck 8, Fides Huelsmann 6, Elle Buresh 4, Taylor Meyer 3, Gracie Fink 3

"JV" BOYS: Mulvane 30 Wellington 39
A hot hand for Chaese Hamel lead the JV boys to victory with 10 players in total putting points up for the team in red!
Chaese Hamel 13, Jack Walton 8, Brock Edwards 5, Trey Cary 3, Therin Frame 2, Carson LeGrand 2, Jacob Ewing 2, Grey Hatfield 2, Will Long 1, DeAndre Washington 1

"VARSITY" GIRLS: Mulvane 46 Wellington 65
The Varsity Lady Crusaders are now 17-0 and on a roll. Off to a slow start again though and Coach Adams sat the starters down in the first quarter for approx. 4 minutes after falling behind the Lady Wildcats and failing to  execute early on. The "break" served them well. In the end, 3 Ladies would score in double-figures and the outcome  very favorable as the final score would indicate.
Grace Mitchell 22, Avery Rusk 15 Lauryn Snipes 11, Tayland French 6, Mariah Moore 6, Shayland French 5

"VARSITY" BOYS: Mulvane 46 Wellington 69
The Varsity Crusaders played well against Mulvane at Mulvane earlier in the season, that trend continued here at home on Tuesday. A slow start but total control after that, leaving the game's outcome never in question and advancing the Varsity Boys record to 9-8 on the season. A career high game for sophomore Ian King and nearly for Cade Phelps as well who’s career high is 22 against Mulvane earlier this season! And like the Varsity Girls, the boys had "3" in double figures!
Ian King 25, Cade Phelps 21, Connor Phelps 10, A.J. Snipes 8, Joe Ybarra 2, Wesley Gilmore 2, Therin Frame 1
