Helen Leckrone receives prison sentence

 

After nearly a year following Helen Leckrone being charged with two counts of Aggravated Criminal Threat, her sentencing was delivered Jan. 11, 2018. She was ordered to serve 57 months in prison and pay $21,566.68 in restitution. Her prison sentence could be reduced at 15% based on good behavior while in prison

 

Leckrone, age 31 at the time, was booked in the Sumner County Jail in February 2017. Two bomb threat calls were received, the first to Eisenhower Elementary and the second to Triumph Accessories, both located in Wellington. SInce then Leckrone has undergone mental health evaluations. Her original bond was set at $100,000, then later reduced to $20,000.
